Potion Magique is one of the first song I wrote, back in 1985. I wrote it in 10 minutes when I was living in Montreal and being a student at the Concordia University. I played it in many different groups under different arrangement; It was a hit on Radio-Canada after we performed it a the Montreal Jazz Festival contest around 1987. The show was taped and that song was popular on the air for a while. This is the last arrangement I made of it. I wrote it for Allegria Brass Band, in whish i was playing tuba. I modified it for guitars only recording and added a middle part while recording it.
